Details: Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) combines the skills of mindfulness and self-compassion to enhance our capacity for emotional resilience and wellbeing.

Burgeoning research shows that self-compassion is strongly associated with health and happiness. It is an inner strength that allows us to respond to life’s challenges more effectively, with self-respect and kindness. Self-compassion has been shown to lead to healthy habits such as diet and exercise, to reduce anxiety and depression, to enhance personal relationships, and to increase life-satisfaction. Self-compassion is a practical skill that can be learned by anyone!

Over the course of 6 weeks, you will:

  • Develop mindfulness and self-compassion in daily life
  • Understand the physiology and science of self-compassion
  • Use self-compassion to live in alignment with your values
  • Handle difficult emotions with greater ease
  • Motivate yourself with kindness rather than criticism
  • Work with challenging relationships
  • Discover the art of savoring and self-appreciation

Through readings and discussion, experiential activities, meditation and interpersonal exercises, you will walk away with everything you need to respond to life’s inevitable challenges with balanced awareness and kindness.
